The due date to get all my prints done was coming soon and I was quite in a rush. Thus, I initially planned the prints I would do instead of exploring and experimenting on the way, which I decided to do a set of prints on Somerset paper and on a folded map of Australia that is sold marketable at a souvenir shop.
I first rolled black ink with a roller larger than the plates, so it can cover the plate surface at once without having to roll twice and leaving a roller mark.

I rolled the whole plate and ran them through the printing press. I attempted to ink the islands darker by pressing the roller harder when rolling on the island parts of the plates.

This was right after printing them:

This was the result of putting them all together:

I did not like how the sky looked, as they all had different tones of black on each print and therefore it did not look consistent or connected. This applies to the ocean area as well. I also used a hand-cut stencil on the sun to make it look like it was radiant than being shown black, yet I don’t think it worked effectively in terms of being the emphasis as the ink did not cover all the edges near the mountains on islands.
